Free Preschool for 4 Year Old Children

Through the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program, Four year old children can attend preschool at any school district preschool in Calhoun, Pocahontas and Webster County or at one of the following preschools:
* Child Care Discovery Center (Fort Dodge)
* Community Daycare & Preschoool (Fort Dodge)
* Dodger Preschool (Fort Dodge)
* Head Start (Calhoun, Pocahontas & Webster County)
* Little Lambs Preschool (Fort Dodge)
* Prince of Peace Preschool (Fort Dodge)
* St. Edmond Preschool (Fort Dodge) |

If your child is age 4 but not attending one of the preschools listed above or is age 3 or 5 attending a preschool in Calhoun, Pocahontas and Webster County, tuition assistance is available through: |

Linking Families and Communities' Preschool Scholarship Program
|
Through Early Childhood Iowa funds, LINKING FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES is able to offer preschool scholarships for children age 3,4 and 5. Scholarships will be given on a first come/first served basis and will pay 100% of the tuition for children that are at or below 200% of the federal poverty guideline. Scholarships will be provided to those whose income is above 200% of the federal poverty guidelines on a sliding fee scale. Tuition Assistance is confidential.
